Create a Section

This guide will teach you how to create a Section within a Course. Sections are used to segment learning content within a Course.

 

1. Navigate to the Course via the Catalogue. If you require to create a Course, please read this article.

2. Click the Cog.png icon and select 'Start Editing'. Then click Screen_Shot_2022-04-27_at_10.34.13_am.png. A new Section will appear at the bottom of the page.

3. Edit the Section's title and restrictions by clicking the Screen_Shot_2022-04-07_at_11.25.36_am.png icon on the left. Update the name and restrict to a Cohort if required. Click Screen_Shot_2022-04-27_at_10.41.10_am.png to finalise.

Note: Content that is restricted to Cohorts will only be accessible for users in the selected Cohorts.

 

4. Move activities into the new Section by dragging them with the horizontal lines. Or add a new activity by clicking "Create Activity".

You have now successfully created a Section!
