Acorn LMS instances located in the Sydney region have experienced technical difficulties in regards to sending and receiving Live Learning email notifications.
This has impacted session registration confirmation, session reminder and session update notification to users, administrators, facilitators and instructors.
Our dedicated development team have identified the cause for this interruption, and are actively investigating and applying an immediate fix to all LMS sites within this region.
Please note - Customers utilising our Learnhub service have NOT been impacted.

The Acorn LMS development team have resolved all issues relating to Live Learning email notifications for customers impacted in the Sydney region.
The root cause of the disruption has been identified as part of our rolling system update that occurred between the 9th and 11th of June 2023. The system update that was applied during this time reset the default mail region utilised by AWS, restricting emails being sent to the ap-southeast-region. The correct mail region has now been applied and resumed email notifications for Live Learnings.
